Question: What do you believe is the purpose of a college education?
Answer: I believe the purpose is to get a degree in something you like so that your not stuck at a job you hate for the rest of your life. You will have a career that you love and enjoy!
Question: What does it mean to be educated?
Answer: It not only means to be educated in the classroom, but also in the streets. Just like the saying "You have to be book and street smart." It means being well rounded. Having an understanding of multiple things not only having an understanding in one particular area.
Question: What experiences have you had with education that led you to this belief?
Answer: There are things that I learned outside of the classroom that helped me in the classroom. Vise versa. In my life I have seen a lot of things just from experience, for example me being in foster care has given me a lot of insight which no one can teach me. It is something I learned from experience.
